The ice once furrowed the land here and then grinded it flat again. So it's even more surprising to find the limestone bumps on this peninsula that have survived this icy attack. The coarse-grained light gray limestone here is "made" of the crinoid stems. Even the wave ripples once formed in the bottom of this shallow sea are observable.
