Memorial stone for Jaan Räppo (1880-1950) and Anfissa Räppo lies in the Räpo village near Võru-Vastseliina road. Jaan Räppo (studied in St. Petersbourg and was a revolution activist in 1905) and his wife Anfissa ( a Ukrainian scholar of literature) translated the Estonian National Epic Kalevipoeg into Ukrainian language.
