Built in 1905 it was erected with the money given by czarist government. In September
1944 its roof and bell tower was hit by bomb shells and after a few months the tower
fall off completely damaging the roof even more. It went on serving as a gym and a
storehouse for flax and cement. The building was restored as a church and a concert
hall in 1990s.
