Hagudi manor was established in 1649. The famous Adam Johann
von Krusenstern who led the first Russian circumnavigation of the
globe was born in Hagudi. The manor was burnt in 1905 anxieties.
Used by the collective farm’s clerks until the 1960s, it has been
empty since. A new roof slows down the perishing a bit.
The vassal fortress in Angerja was originally constructed in the 14th and 15th centuries, but was rebuilt and modernised several times thereafter.
