The colourful varved clay soil in Vana-Vigala has sparkled tales
of a sunk castle. The peasants heaped the 222 meters long Wall
of Hunger to the north border in 1867 after a next crop failure in
return for grain given to them. On the other side of the river there
used to be ancient Estonians’ sacrificial forest.
