Estonian Broadcast Museum is located to Türi because the transmitting station was in there between 1937 and 1941. Its 196.6 meters high antenna was one of the most modern ones in Europe at that time. A radio apparatus was first seen in Estonia 1921. A regular radio program started in 1926.
