It is in the county of Eastern Virumaa, in Ontika where the coastal limestone bank
reaches its highest point – 55.6 meters. The bank is rifted by riverbeds – a work done
in Ice Age. The streams come to an end as waterfalls. Langevoja or Falling Brook in
Estonian is only one of them.
A legend says local peasants received a miraculous relevation on this hill and later on found an Orthodox icon most holy under the oak-tree here, a sacrificial one itself. All of this happened in the 16th century.
