Established in the 17th century the simple rustic main building was replaced with the current Classicist one in the end of the 18th century. The main entrance is guarded by the two dolomite lions--fashion of the 20th century--laying there. In the same borough there is the Viking time Viltina harbour. Originating from the 11th century it's age makes it rare even among the Scandinavian harbours.
