In the Middle Ages, the manor belonged to the bishop of Tartu, and was later associated with the Salises, von Glasenapps, von Oettingens, von Muellers and von Maydells. Of the long single-storey main building, constructed at the beginning of the 19th century, only the walls of one end of the building have been preserved.
