First mentioned in 1380 most of it was detroyed in the 16th century wars. A father from
closeby Palamuse had a sermon between the remaining walls once a year. The scenery
must have looked dramatic but the building of the new church started in 1642. There are
two wild and woolly stone crosses in the church yard.
