The monument for Villem Reiman in Tartu, at Toomemäe was
erected in 1931 but was destroyed by the occupation forces in
1950. The monument was reopened 54 years later. Reiman was
one of the most important leaders of Estonian national movement
in the end of the 19th century and in the beginning of the next.
