Valgehobusemäe Ski and Recreation Centre is a year-round fitness sports centre for everyone, located in the beautiful Kõrvemaa landscape of Mägede Village, Albu Rural Municipality, Järva County. Valgehobusemäe Ski and Recreation Centre with register code 75035358 is administered by Albu Rural Municipality Government.
In the summer, visitors can hike, run, orienteer or ride bicycles on various trails. The local trails are between three and five kilometres long and are connected to longer trails leading out of the centre – for instance, a 50 km cycling trail through Kakerdaja Bog starts here.
We have a nice pond for swimming, campfire grounds and campsites and caravan parking. An open-air training campus is also available.
For the winter, the centre is equipped with a modern snow cannon and trail machines. In addition to the ski stadium, a 2 km cross-country skiing trail is also covered with artificial snow. Access to the snowboarding and downhill slopes and the snow tubing course is provided by means of a lift. Snowboarding lessons are held at the centre’s snowboarding school. A separate children’s sledding hill is also available.
The headquarters of the centre are open every day. The upper floor has a spacious room for organising seminars for up to 80 people and a café for catering. The first floor includes a sauna and changing rooms, service rooms for event organisers and sports equipment rental. Free Wi-Fi is available for everyone.
The centre’s free car park has space for up to 200 cars.
