The University of Tartu is rich in cultural and historical heritage. Visitors of every age will find plenty of opportunities for discovery at the four museums of the university – the UT History Museum in the old building of the former Dome Cathedral, the Art Museum in the university’s main building, the Museum of Natural History in the academic building at 46, Vanemuise St, and the collections of the Faculty of Medicine in the Old Anatomical Theatre.
In addition to the standing exhibition, the museum offers many interesting special expositions, lectures and museum lessons (details available on museum websites).
