The main building of the Laupa manor is considered being one of the most beautiful
ones erected in Estonia during the 20th century. The estate itself originates from the
Middle Ages, cavalry officer Claus Trällot bought it directly from king Gustav II Adolf. It
has been accommodating a school since the expropriation in 1922.
