In the Middle Ages, the manor belonged to the von Maydells. Later it was the property of the von Stackelbergs for a long period of time. Only one gate tower, built in the 19th century and restored in 1999, and the dilapidated main building have remained of the stylish, lentil-shaped Late-Baroque manor centre, which is from the end of the 18th century.
