The 1783 inaugurated church is built on the base of a Dominican monastery. There is a chapel to honor St. Isidor who, as alleged, died as a martyr in this very spot in 1472. Archpriests Mihhail Bleive and Nikolai Bežanitski - the two victims among 19 murdered by the Bolshevists in the cellar of the Credit Bank in 1919 -- are buried there too.
