This building is one of the most beautiful ones in the ensemble of
Tartu University. Having 18th century Neo-Renaissance exterior,
it was reconstructed from a Baroque dwelling. It has been a
university estate from 1924. In front of it there is a monument for
the earliest print house in Estonia, established in 1631.
