It is the third church in this place. As vague as the first one’s exact place is the year it
was built. It was there in 1627, that much is known. The current one is built in 1802 in
the memory of young Gustav Dietrich Otto von Ungern-Strenberg. The family had a lily,
a detail from their coat of arms, put on top of the wind arrow.
