Pältre fir grows at the Pältre-Viitka roadside, 1,5 km to Vastseliina from Pältre village. The tree has a shape of a chandelier and it is therefore called a chandelier-fir. Pältre fir is the most spectacular of its kind in Estonia with its 11 treetops. The tree is 25 meters high and the diameter of the crown is 19-20 meters.
