The Tallinn Botanic Garden is located in the eastern outskirts of Tallinn, 10 km from the city centre and 3 km from the Pirita Sailing and Recreation Centre. The territory is split by the Pirita River and embraced by a large sandy pine forest area. Metsakalmistu Cemetery, the last resting place of a number of celebrities in Estonian history, is in the neighbourhood, as is the Tallinn TV Tower.
Take bus 34A or 38 from the bus terminal at Viru keskus to Kloostrimetsa stop.
Take bus 49 from Lasnamäe to Kloostrimetsa stop.
