The newly renovated tourism farm Kevvai opened its doors to visitors in December 2005. Kevvai tourism farm is situated on the bank of the natural 69 hectare lake Jõksi, amidst a picturesque and versatile nature of Kanepi. A major advantage of our tourism farm is its privacy and cosiness, as well as splendid opportunities for sporting and spending leisure time with friends and family all year around. In addition, we are available for hosting conferences, seminars and training for up to 50 people. Our tourism farm has also hosted many birthday parties, gatherings and weddings throughout the years!
Our tourism farm offers breakfast, lunch and dinner for our guests at their own request and preference. Our chef prepares delicious traditional dishes, which are quite hard to get anywhere else nowadays. Upon reservation, we are also available to cater large groups, be it buffe-style or a rich celebratory feast. In the summer when the weather is good, our sun-terrace is always open for serving breakfast. The conference packet includes both coffee breaks and catering upon request.
There are four suites in our tourism farm, which can accommodate up to 20-25 people. There is a bathroom with a shower and a wireless internet connection WiFi in each room. On the first floor, there is a spacious living room with an open fireplace, the dining hall and sauna with a luxurious massage-tub. From the first floor, a door leads to the sun-terrace with a magnificent view to the lake.
After a tiresome day, guests can relax in the wood-heated sauna and massage-tub where it is possible to order drinks and snacks. If the weather permits it, there is also a ice-hole on the lake for guests to take a dip after the sauna. The sauna complex is connected to a private terrace where there are lounging chairs and a magnificent view of the lake.
There is much to do at our tourism farm! To pass time in the summer, we have our very own camping and caravan spots on the bank of the lake and in the woods. It is also possible to rent boats, fishing equipment and bikes. Guests can throw a picnic or a barbecue at our special bonfire area in the woods, where there of course is a view to the lake. Guests can order catering from the tourism farm but there is also a possibility to fish and catch your own food and prepare it on an open fire.
The tourism farm's 6 hectare land can successfully be used for large outdoor events. We also encourage our guests to take a hike into Kanepi's magnificent nature. Upon request, our chef will prepare a lunch-packet for our guests to take with. Our guests can order fireworks for special occasions and why not cover the lake with sparkling candles to create a romantic atmosphere?
