Sillapää manor was founded in 1582. The Sillapääe castle was built in 1842. The manor park is rich in species. On the edge of the park by a river there is the Temple of Kiss – one of the favorite nooks for teenagers in the castle park.

The observation tower is located on Simisalu bog island in Vetepere village in Albu municipality in Järva County. The height of the tower is 18 metres.
