The Hunters Mill Hill has been continuously operating since 1868, being powered by electricity in recent times. 

The Liphardt’s Chapel was built in 1772 to the old Vastseliina cemetery (also known as “the German Cemetery”). The Liphardt family bought a manor in Vastseliina in 1757 and ruled the area for seven generations until 1920.
